Complete Your Smile with All-On-4 Implants in Loveland
There are several replacement options for replacing an arch of teeth. The most comfortable and similar options to having your natural teeth include dental implants which have teeth that screw down to the implants. With this option, the teeth do not come in and out of your mouth, they feel the most natural and allow your diet to remain the same as if you had your teeth. There are two materials in which the teeth can be made, with the first being a porcelain-like material named Zirconia. The second option involves a combination of acrylic and plastic.
All-on-4 or All-On-5 Options
The number of implants required to support these teeth depends on which material you would like your final teeth made of as well as how much bone you have available. The Zirconia (porcelain-like teeth) require at least 5 implants per arch, and the combination of plastic and acrylic require 4 implants per arch.
Both options involve a healing period of four months, once the implants have been placed. This allows the bone to grow around the implants creating a stable foundation for your future teeth. During the healing period, you will have temporary teeth which also attach to the implants so you will never be without your smile. A soft diet is very important during this healing period as to not overload the implants. After the healing period is complete the process begins to start designing your final teeth. This process takes a series of six appointments in which you will have some feedback on the final design of your teeth.
Towards the end of the design process of your new teeth, you will have a new set of temporaries made so you can feel and see what your smile will look like. After a trail period in which you ensure everything is comfortable and exceeds your expectations then we make your final teeth.
