A Treatment Plan That Works With You

Virtually Unnoticeable

The clear aligner trays used for Invisalign are designed with a custom fit to be virtually unnoticeable when you are wearing them. Those around you probably will not notice that you are undergoing orthodontic treatment.

Designed For Comfort

The metal wires and brackets of traditional braces can rub, snag, and irritate the soft tissue inside of your mouth. The Invisalign aligners are fabricated from a flexible, laser-cut plastic with smooth edges to provide a comfortable fit.

No Restrictions

Trying to brush and floss while wearing metal braces is no small task. But clear aligner trays are removable, which means you can brush and floss normally. Unlike other orthodontic devices, this one allows you to continue to enjoy all of your favorite crunchy and sticky foods.

Achieve a Straighter Smile with Invisalign

Straighter teeth are a common dental goal for a large number of cosmetic dentistry patients. But many adults and teens are discouraged by the idea of visiting an orthodontist. The conspicuous metal wires and brackets of traditional orthodontics can prevent patients from undergoing important dental treatment that can improve both their oral health and appearance.

For many years, a trip to the orthodontist was the only option for straighter teeth, but advancements in the field of orthodontics have made dental treatment much more convenient and accessible. Dr. Andy Maples in Loveland, CO, offers Invisalign to qualifying patients. Virtually no one will be able to notice you are wearing clear aligners while receiving treatment, but they will notice the gorgeous results.

The virtually invisible aligners allow patients a number of benefits over traditional braces. The Invisalign system makes it easy to maintain excellent oral hygiene during treatment. The removable aligners also give you the freedom to enjoy all the foods you love.

The dental hygienists are always pleasant and in this visit, Theresa, was especially helpful giving tips on keeping my teeth healthy. We discussed how different drinks can affect the health of my teeth and the importance of drinking water after acidic drinks. Dr. Andy is polite and friendly. He will visit with you and discuss any issues you may have at length.

Are You a Good Candidate?

Although Invisalign can treat most cases of misalignment, ranging from mild to complex, the only certain way to determine if you are eligible is to visit our Loveland, CO, office for a consultation. During your exam, Dr. Maples will take a panoramic x-ray, which clearly shows how your teeth are aligned as well as their appearance and shape. Dr. Maples will also check your bite to determine which adjustments are needed. In general, Invisalign is a great option for patients who have minor to moderate alignment issues, including:

  • An underbite
  • A crossbite
  • An overbite
  • An open bite
  • A gapped smile
  • A crowded smile

In order for your treatment to be successful, you will have to be committed to wearing the aligners for 20-22 hours per day.

The Invisalign Treatment Process

Invisalign treatment consists of a series of custom-fitted clear aligners. Each Invisalign aligner represents a different stage of treatment as your teeth move into their ideal positions. Treatment is simple. All you have to do is wear each aligner for approximately two weeks, between 20 and 22 hours each day, before switching to the next ones in the set. You will also need to attend regular check-ups every four to six weeks at our Loveland, CO, dentistry practice so that your dentist can monitor your progress.

Maintaining a Healthy Bite After Invisalign

Dr. Maples and his team want your results to look and feel great for years to come. We offer Vivera® retainers, which are worn on a nightly basis after you complete treatment. These retainers closely resemble Invisalign trays and are extremely durable.

If your retainers get lost or damaged, you are covered because we usually order four sets of retainers. For your convenience, we also include the cost of the retainers in your Invisalign treatment so that you automatically get the best retainers available on the market with no surprise costs.

By wearing your retainer as directed, maintaining your at-home dental hygiene routine, and visiting our office for a checkup at least every six months, you can maintain your beautiful new smile for a lifetime.

Start on the Path to a Straighter Smile

Dr. Maples has received extensive training to provide this advanced treatment for patients and can guide you on your journey towards the best possible results. Flexible financing is available to help patients better manage out-of-pocket costs. In many cases, Invisalign qualifies for at least partial coverage through insurance plans. You can count on our staff to work with you to make this popular and immensely beneficial treatment a fit for your budget.
